What the Program Offers 

Better Jobs Ontario provides financial assistance to support training and career development, which may include:

• Books, supplies, and learning materials

Funding is designed to help individuals focus on completing training and preparing for employment.

Who May Be Eligible 

You may qualify for Better Jobs Ontario if you:

• Have been laid off and are currently unemployed
• Are working a temporary or low-income job
• Have been unemployed for an extended period and are from a low-income household
• Are receiving income support such as EI, Ontario Works, or ODSP

Applicants must also be residents of Ontario and legally able to work in Canada
